Job Title: Campus Liaison
Pay Program: Support Staff FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Principal/District 51 Safety Coordinator Pay Range: CH 8 $19.39 - $21.64
Work Year: 175 Days / 3 Hours (School Calendar Year)

SUMMARY: Maintain a safe environment for students, parents and the community, by high visibility during school hours. Assist law enforcement.

Job Responsibility Descriptions
1. Influence students to attend class: discourage trespassing and loitering; assist with the safe movement of students.
2. Implement school-wide parking plan by checking car registrations, giving parking tickets and enforcing safety measures. Middle check parking lot for suspicious vehicles.
3. Greet people as they enter the school campus, ask visitors to identify themselves and provide assistance, information and directions as necessary. Assist vendors upon entering the grounds.
4. Assist law enforcement by providing information as to the location of criminal activity on school property.
5. Assist in school working as deemed necessary by administration on issues surrounding school security.
6. Help maintain a school security plan, insuring doors are secure.
7. Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent

Six months experience preferred in working with young adults
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

Criminal background check required for hire.

Valid Colorado Driver's License
