Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAN-AM ATV Technician to join our team. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CAN-AM All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), Side-by-Sides (SSVs), and related equipment. The role requires strong technical expertise, familiarity with CAN-AM systems and diagnostics, and the ability to deliver high-quality service that ensures customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspection, and servicing of CAN-AM ATVs/SSVs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using CAN-AM diagnostic tools (e.g., B.U.D.S. software).
- Repair and replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems.
- Conduct performance testing and ensure vehicles are in proper working condition before delivery.
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and reports of repairs performed.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer service standards and safety regulations.
- Keep up to date with the latest CAN-AM technical bulletins, product updates, and repair procedures.
- Assist in pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new units.
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and customers when required.
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and work environment in clean and proper condition.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical, Automotive, or Power Sports Technology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ATV/UTV service & repair (CAN-AM experience highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of engines, fuel injection systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic systems.
- Proficiency in using CAN-AM diagnostic tools (B.U.D.S./B.U.D.S.2).
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit to handle workshop tasks and ATV repairs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license (motorcycle/ATV license preferred).
Preferred Attributes:
- BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) training certification.
- Experience in customer-facing service environments.
- Knowledge of other recreational vehicles (motorcycles, watercraft, snowmobiles, etc.) is an added advantage.
