Duties

• Provide expert guidance to customers on cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain usage, effects, and benefits clearly and confidently
• Assist customers with product selection based on their preferences and experience levels
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
• Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while practicing excellent phone etiquette
• Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and organizing product displays efficiently
• Support retail sales efforts through effective communication skills and friendly customer interactions

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team settings
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, friendly interaction and phone etiquette
• Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and retail math calculations
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos to engage customers effectively
• Knowledge of cannabis products or willingness to learn about industry-specific offerings
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for educating others about cannabis benefits

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.25 - $25.59 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
