Cannabis Packaging Associate

General Summary

Rapid growing cultivation company is seeking a Cannabis Packaging Associate/weed packer to join our team.

Essential Job Functions

The qualified candidate is responsible for preparing, weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products for distribution in compliance with company standards and state regulations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to strict quality control and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh cannabis flower or products according to packaging requirements.
• Package cannabis products into jars, bags, or other approved containers.
• Apply correct labels, batch numbers, and compliance stickers to products.
• Inspect products for quality, consistency, and cleanliness before packaging.
• Maintain accurate records of packaged quantities and production batches.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation guidelines.
• Follow all state cannabis regulations and company policies during packaging.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization when needed.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Work schedule:

• This is a full-time position (40hrs+ a week)
• Typical work hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 pm
• Schedules are subject to change
