Cannaspire is a full-service end to end international cannabis consulting firm that is experiencing exponential growth. We are seeking an experienced Account Executive for our rapidly expanding operations.
The Account Executive position will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for new client acquisition, client management, forecasting, strategic planning and accountable for driving revenue growth nationwide. He/She must have proven sales experience and success selling consulting services in the cannabis or life science industries.
To be considered, you must be a result driven, accountable, proven sales executive with the ability to work independently with little oversight and have a superior track record as a Senior Sales Executive, looking to take advantage of helping with the expansion of an early stage, high-growth cannabis consulting firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with clients while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets
- Create and communicate sales goals and ensure C-Level executives are informed on the progress of these goals
- Maintain and manage a sales pipeline
- Understand cannabis industry trends and landscapes
- Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals
- Travel required for conferences/trade shows and in-person meetings with clients to develop key relationships.
- Contribute to implementation of marketing plans and campaign development in conjunction with cross-functional team including creative, social, sales, marketing, and operations
- Embrace change, flexibility, and quick growth as we scale, acquire, pivot and take on the cannabis market
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience creating and operating a pipeline management system.
- Recent experience operating in an early-stage company, with a demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats, respond to evolving demands and react to a constantly changing marketplace.
- Driven, self-starter with proven results and background in B2B commission based sales
- 5+ years of consulting sales experience
- Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly desired.
- Established network of senior level contacts within the cannabis industry is a plus.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willing to travel nationwide to trade shows, conferences representing the Cannaspire brand
- Direct, no-nonsense communication style that emphasizes transparency and integrity
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a science emphasis.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
