As a Server, you are a key ambassador of Cannonball and Belmont Park. You provide attentive, polished, and proactive service, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to anticipate needs, communicate clearly, and deliver food and beverages accurately supports smooth operations and enhances guest satisfaction.
- Greet guests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere

Handle birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions with discretion and elevated service standards

Thank guests and suggest other Belmont Park venues or attractions to enhance their experience
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper timing, sequencing, and presentation standards

Promote and up-sell menu items, beverages, and specials following Belmont Park’s Steps of Service

Monitor guests’ alcohol intake in accordance with RBS standards and alert management if necessary

Present bills, process payments, and maintain accountability for all transactions

Adapt service for outdoor seating, cabanas, and lounge areas while maintaining comfort and efficiency

Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery during high-volume periods
- Work seamlessly with kitchen staff, hosts, bussers, and fellow servers to maintain smooth operations

Assist in training new team members through shadowing and modeling service standards

Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked side stations to support efficient service
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures

Keep service and storage areas clean, organized, and ready for operation at all times

Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant operations
- Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused with a polished demeanor

Comfortable anticipating guest needs and handling special requests

Physical Requirements:
- Constant standing and mobility required for up to 8 hours per shift.

Clear communication and attentive listening skills required for supervisors, team members, and guests.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Required: Food Handler’s Card, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Required if serving alcohol: RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certified.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to remain composed, professional, and polished under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and guest-first mindset.
Testing/Work Authorization:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Pre-Employment Drug Test Required.

Expected Hours of Work:
Flexible availability is required, including nights, holidays, and peak seasons. Team members must maintain open availability for at least two of the three weekend days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
