Compensation: $100k – $120k (commensurate with experience)

Make an Impact
As our Capital Improvements Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of capital projects that enhance the value, longevity, and performance of our apartment communities. This role is hands-on, highly visible, and essential to supporting our operations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead the RFP process, including scope development, bidding, and contractor selection
  • Build and manage strong vendor and contractor relationships
  • Oversee capital projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality workmanship, budget alignment, and timely execution
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and Executive Leadership to ensure project priorities align with property and company goals
  • Travel throughout CA, NV, and AZ to evaluate property needs and provide on-site project oversight
Who Excels in This Role
  • Must reside in San Diego, CA
  • Experienced professional with a solid background in construction management and capital improvement projects
  • Skilled in contractor coordination, negotiation, and contract administration
  • Able to travel frequently across CA, NV, and AZ
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and project/contract management tools
  • Organized, detail-driven communicator who can confidently work with leadership and site teams
