The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Capital Markets Partner to join our prestigious international law firm in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in capital markets transactions, a strong network within the region, and the ability to lead and develop our growing practice in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage complex capital markets transactions including IPOs, debt offerings, and equity placements. - Advise clients on regulatory compliance, securities laws, and market practices specific to the Saudi Arabian and regional markets. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, regulators, and market participants. - Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm’s capital markets presence in the region. - Mentor and lead junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. - Stay abreast of legal and market developments impacting capital markets and advise clients accordingly. - Represent the firm at conferences, seminars, and industry events in Saudi Arabia and the broader Gulf region.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney with a strong background in capital markets law, preferably with experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. - Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an international law firm or leading local practice. - Proven track record of leading major capital markets transactions and advising high-profile clients. - Deep understanding of Saudi Arabian capital markets regulations and securities laws. - Excellent leadership and business development skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous. - Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and teams.
