Capitol Hill Cafe Team Member, $12-$15 an hour in tips!

We are looking for candidates to fill one Part time Café Team position at our Capitol Hill location. Shifts are between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and typically last 6-8 hours. The hours for this position will range between 24 hours. Availability to work holidays and weekends is required.

Café Team Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions at registers.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold food and baked goods.
• Describe product details to customers.
• Ensure customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items.
• Manage cleaning tasks - such as, washing dishes, sweeping, moping, and trash disposal.
• Clean and sanitize service and seating areas.
• Ensure proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment.
• Stock supplies and retail products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Café Team Job Requirements:

• Previous food service or barista experience a plus but not required.
• Current Food Handler's Permit or the ability to get one.

Compensation:

Starting Range: $21.30 - $21.30/ hour starting with an average of $12.00-$15.00 an hour in tips.

Wage Range: $21.30-$22.50/ hour with an average of $12.00-$15.00 an hour in tips
