Captain (Food & Beverage Service)
We are looking for dynamic, self motivated Food & Beverage professionals who want to move their careers forward. As a Captain you are responsible for providing professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring their stay becomes a memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks to service food & beverage in accordance with the hotel's performance manual.
- Acquire in depth knowledge of the outlet's menu to assist and advise guests.
- Practice good customer relations and attend to complaints and queries satisfactorily.
- Ensure the outlet is set up for service and supervise for a smooth operation.
- Direct and supervise the service team to ensure all duties are performed to standards.
- Ensure all colleagues receive adequate training.
- Organize, plan, and control supplies; maintain concise records of beverage stock to guarantee availability.
- Prevent waste, breakage, and spoilage.
- Use upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality with a maximum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Good written and spoken English; familiarity with Micros preferred.
- Prior experience in minor leadership or supervisory roles.
