Captain waiter

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the front-of-house service team during shifts
• Ensure exceptional guest experience from seating to departure
• Coordinate between the kitchen and service teams for seamless order flow
• Train, mentor, and develop junior waitstaff to maintain service standards
• Handle VIP guests and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, wine list, and daily specials
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Support management with daily reports, inventory, and operational tasks

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter in fine dining or upscale casual restaurants
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Professional appearance with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
• Must be available to relocate to or currently reside in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
