Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- VVIP Hospitality: Welcome guests warmly, manage table seating, and deliver personalized, high-end table service.
- Menu Expertise: Guide guests through the menu, explain complex culinary techniques, and provide expert beverage pairings.
- Order & Table Management: Take accurate orders, monitor serving pace, and execute tableside preparation when required.
- Complaint Resolution: Manage guest feedback and complaints instantly on the floor, turning negative situations into positive loyalty.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Section Supervision: Direct, motivate, and coordinate front waiter and food runners in your assigned zone.
- Standards Enforcement: Ensure your team strictly adheres to grooming standards, steps of service, and behavioral etiquettes.
- Kitchen Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between the dining floor and the kitchen to guarantee perfect timing of dishes.
- Station Readiness: Oversee pre-shift mise-en-place, table setups, and section cleanliness before and after service windows.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Senior Waiter or Captain in a fine-dining restaurant.
- Skills: Strong leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of POS systems, inventory management, fine wine, spirits, and diverse culinary ingredients.
- Flexibility: Ability to work demanding schedules, including weekends, late nights, and public holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing and walking for extended periods while maintaining an energetic, professional posture.
