Car Care Operation Supervisor

The Senior Operations Supervisor for D Luxe Car Care (Car Care & Paintshop) oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow, excellent customer service, and high-quality service delivery. The role involves managing staff, maintaining equipment, optimizing processes, and ensuring profitability while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures to be implemented on all operational activities
• Oversee daily operations of the car care centre, including car wash, detailing, and related services.
• Ensure all services meet the company’s quality standards and customer expectations.
• Monitor and optimize workflow to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.

2. Staff Management:

• Recruit, train, and supervise team members, including car wash technicians and support staff.
• Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching for improvement.

3. Maintenance and Safety:

• Oversee regular maintenance and servicing of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Ensure the workplace complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Implement and monitor protocols for safe handling of cleaning chemicals and materials.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to service quality standards.
• Implement and refine quality control processes to enhance customer experience.

5. Business Development:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and strategies.

6. Daily reports

• Staff Performance report:

1. Individual and team productivity metrics (e.g., number of cars serviced).

2. Any staff issues, training needs, or recommendations.

• Operations and Service Efficiency Report

1. Total number of cars serviced.

2. Average time taken per service type.

3. Instances of service delays and reasons (e.g., equipment breakdown).

4. Total daily existing capacity vs. daily performance

• Safety and Compliance Report

1. Any safety incidents or near-misses.

2. Compliance with health, safety, and environmental protocols.

3. Actions taken to address safety concerns.
