Diagnosing , installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in vehicles, from basic wiring and lights to complex electronics like sensors, alternators, starter motors, and A/C systems, using diagnostic tools, software, and hand tools to fix issues and ensure vehicle electronics function correctly. Key duties involve troubleshooting faults, repairing shorts, replacing components (fuses, relays, wiring), working with engine control units (ECUs).
