Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers across designated routes, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and freight delivered in compliance with federal regulations.
• Route driving efficiently while managing delivery schedules and communicating any delays or issues promptly.
• Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when hauling specialized cargo like refrigerated or tanker freight.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle type.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations and cargo securement standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $10,000.00 - $15,000.00 per month
