Car Lot Inventory Manager

About the Role
At Ford Lincoln of Cookeville, we believe first impressions matter—and our Car Lot Inventory Manager is the key to creating them. This isn’t just a “lot attendant” position. As the Car Lot Inventory Manager, you’ll take ownership of our dealership’s first impression, ensuring that every vehicle on our lot looks organized, clean, and ready for customers to explore. You’ll work closely with our sales, service, and detail teams to keep the lot running smoothly, inventory flowing, and customers impressed the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Do

• Organize and manage new and pre-owned vehicle inventory on the lot.
• Reposition and rotate vehicles multiple times per week to keep the lot fresh and customer-friendly.
• Coordinate with the detail and service departments to ensure new arrivals are clean, inspected, and ready to showcase.
• Stock new vehicles into the computer system and ensure keys are secured in the key box.
• Conduct daily inspections of the lot to maintain cleanliness, order, and presentation.
• Refuel vehicles as needed to ensure all are customer-ready.
• Assist courtesy delivery drivers by prepping chase cars and customer vehicles for delivery.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proactive, dependable, and able to take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Comfortable working outdoors and moving vehicles throughout the day.

What's Required

• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
