Car Mechanic

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Car Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain cars and light motor vehicles. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and ensure high-quality service with safety and customer satisfaction as priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engines, mechanical and electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacement, wheel alignment, and brake servicing
• Repair or replace worn or faulty parts including engines, clutches, gearboxes, suspension, and steering systems
• Use diagnostic tools and computerized testing equipment to identify faults
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain service records and job cards accurately
• Follow safety procedures and workshop standards at all times
• Keep tools and equipment clean and in good working condition
• Coordinate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely delivery of vehicles

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile Engineering (preferred)
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience as a car mechanic
• Good knowledge of petrol and diesel engines
• Familiarity with premium cars(Volkswegan, BMW, Aadi)
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners and workshop tools
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
