Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and diagnose problems accurately.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine repairs, brake replacements, transmission work, tire services, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, parts used, and repairs completed for each vehicle.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to guarantee customer safety and satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly with customers about necessary repairs, costs, and timelines to foster trust and transparency.
• Keep the workshop organized, clean, and stocked with necessary tools and parts to ensure smooth daily operations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a car mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques.
• Hands-on experience using diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Knowledge of current automotive technology trends and repair practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent are highly preferred.
