Job Summary:
The Parts Advisor will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and supplying automotive parts to technicians and customers. This role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to ensure accurate and efficient parts operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying correct parts for repair or upgrade.
- Maintain and update parts inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and organization.
- Order parts from local and international suppliers based on demand and vehicle specifications.
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information to customers.
- Manage parts invoices, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely delivery of required components.
- Handle returns, warranty claims, and defective part replacements.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role in an automotive service center.
- Strong knowledge of European vehicles (especially Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes).
- Familiar with automotive parts catalog systems and supplier databases.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory management software).
