Car Parts Salesperson (Inside)

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Car Parts Salesperson (Inside) to join our automotive team. This role involves assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair, and experience in retail sales or dealership environments. Bilingual abilities and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus. Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate automotive parts and accessories based on their vehicle requirements.
• Provide expert advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Manage inventory levels, stock parts accurately, and perform inventory control to ensure product availability.
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions, handle cash and credit card payments accurately, and process order fulfillment efficiently.
• Maintain organized stock areas, ensure proper stocking procedures, and assist with merchandising displays.
• Utilize automotive repair and service knowledge to educate customers on product usage and maintenance tips.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and promote marketing initiatives related to automotive parts.
• Keep abreast of new products, industry trends, and dealership updates to provide current information to customers.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment consistent with safety standards.

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales within an automotive parts store or dealership preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes highly desirable.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (CMMS), POS systems, and retail math is advantageous.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels accurately.
• Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork.
• Experience in dealership or automotive service environments will be considered an asset. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the automotive industry who enjoy helping customers find solutions for their vehicle needs while working in a dynamic retail environment.
