Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Car Purchaser to evaluate used vehicles, negotiate with seller, and purchase deals that meet company pricing and profitability targets. The role requires strong knowledge of the used car market, vehicle valuation, and the ability to work closely with inspection teams to ensure accurate vehicle assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review vehicle inspection reports and determine purchase value.
• Guide and support inspectors during vehicle evaluations.
• Assess vehicle condition, market demand, and resale potential.
• Negotiate purchase prices with dealers and sellers.
• Close vehicle purchase deals within approved pricing guidelines.
• Analyze dealer asking prices and market trends to make competitive offers.
• Ensure purchased vehicles meet company quality and profitability standards.
• Verify vehicle documentation and ownership records before purchase.
• Coordinate with operations and auction teams for vehicle onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases and negotiations.

Requirements

• Experience in used car purchasing, vehicle appraisal, automotive sales, or a related field. Advantage of worked in Auction companies.
• Strong understanding of vehicle valuation and market pricing.
• Ability to identify mechanical, cosmetic, and structural vehicle issues.
• Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet acquisition targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM and relevant automotive systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with dealers and automotive auctions.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection standards.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to evaluate vehicle profitability and resale potential.
