Car Sales Manager

Summary:

Overseeing, managing, and leading the sales function and achieving the sales targets by empowering the sales team, developing sales strategies and crafting marketing campaigns. Ensuring all sales processes, strategies and objectives are aligned with organization vision, mission, and values.


Job Description:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, ensuring the proper mentorship and coaching for employees to attain the set targets and foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics aligned with organizational vision and mission.
  3. Sales Process: Oversee the sales process to ensure a seamless customer experience aligned with organizational goals, objectives and values
  4. Inventory Management and Optimization : Employ advanced data analysis techniques, such as moving averages and seasonal adjustments, to accurately forecast sales for each model. Continuously monitor market trends, sales pipeline dynamics, and customer demand fluctuations to refine forecasts and optimize inventory levels.
  5. Customer Excellence: Manage customer complaints related to After-Sales issues, periodic customer visits and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage customer grievances filed with consumer protection agencies and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  6. Marketing Activities: Collaborating with the necessary internal stakeholders to prepare and execute marketing activities, materials, and events to promote the brand.
  7. Stakeholder Relationship Management: Forming and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust and mutual understanding between the organization and stakeholders.
  8. Market Intelligence and Analysis: Oversee the collection and analysis of market data, including competitor sales, lost sales, and new product information. Sharing market intelligence reports with management to make informed strategic decisions.
  9. Communication and Collaboration: Communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate and seamless execution of deliverables and timely debt collection in an efficient manner in line with organizational vision and mission.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Analyzing and identifying areas for improvement within the scope of work, ensuring to take corrective action as necessary. This includes implementing best practices, leveraging technology and automation, and driving efficiency gains.


Job Specifications:

  • Academic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant degree.


Years of Experience:

  • 8 – 10 years of experience in a relevant role.


Skills and/or Competencies:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment, quickly adjust and thrive in dynamic and rapidly changing business settings.
