Used Car Sales & Marketing Assistant

Location: Hwy 11 Automotive – Lenoir City, TN

Hours: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Pay: Hourly + Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to assist with used car sales and marketing. This role plays a key part in helping customers find the right vehicle while supporting online promotion and inventory management. The ideal candidate is personable, driven, and comfortable guiding customers through the buying process and earning commission through sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build rapport to understand their vehicle needs
• Show vehicles, explain features, and highlight value points
• Assist customers through the sales process from first contact to purchase
• Help coordinate and accompany test drives
• Follow up with leads (calls, texts, and messages) to generate sales
• Answer questions about pricing, financing options, and vehicle history
• Close deals and earn commission on sales
• Take high-quality photos and videos of vehicles
• Create and post listings on platforms (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, dealership website, etc.)
• Write clear, compelling vehicle descriptions to attract buyers
• Respond quickly to online inquiries and convert them into appointments
• Keep inventory accurate and up to date
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lot
• Assist with basic lot operations and vehicle staging

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Sales experience REQUIRED (automotive experience is a plus)
• Comfortable talking with customers and asking for the sale
• Motivated to earn commission and hit sales goals
• Basic knowledge of vehicles or willingness to learn quickly
• Familiar with smartphones, social media, and online selling platforms
• Reliable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience in car sales or retail sales
• Social media marketing or online sales experience
• Basic photography and video skills
• Ability to negotiate and close deals

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
