Car Transporter Driver - HGV Class 1 - Tramper

Robinson’s is a family-run business based in Corby with many years of experience in vehicle transportation. We proudly work with a number of key clients across the industry.

Due to the award of a new contract, we are now looking to recruit 11+ Car Transporter Tramper Drivers to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate, offering excellent rates of pay and long-term career prospects. We are also willing to out-base the right candidate.

The Role

Successful applicants will be responsible for the safe and professional transportation of vehicles across the UK. Good knowledge of UK roads, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Training Provided

For applicants with no previous car transporter experience, full training will be provided. Training consists of up to three weeks of car transporter specific instruction.

Essential Requirements

• HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
• Minimum 1 year HGV Class 1 (CE) driving experience (essential)
• Valid CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Professional and customer-focused attitude

Preferred Experience

• Car transporter experience (preferred but not essential)
• HGV Class 1 tramping experience (preferred but not essential)

Pay: £49,400.00-£60,000.00 per year
