Car Wash Attendant (Full-time)

(FULL-TIME ROLE)

The goal of Mr. Spotless is to provide customers with kindness while providing car wash options at a sparkling clean facility. This role would be a full-time position.

An ideal candidate will optimize our site's launch, cleanliness and functionality all while being communicative with customers.

Position Overview

Car Wash Attendants follow a prioritization-led routine that focuses on supporting vehicles entry at the express wash, cleaning self-serve wash bays, removing trash on the lot and at the vacuum bays, providing guidance on Mr. Spotless Unlimited wash membership plans, and basic task reporting.

Maximize traffic. Mr. Spotless prioritizes our customers’ needs. This includes high-quality washes and accessory services, speed and continuous movement in line. Car Wash Attendants keep things going for everyone -- be it customers or our team.

Great customer service and firm decisioning. It is a must that we listen and act upon supporting feedback. At the same time, we have your back in situations and operate with a mindset that aims to support and be kind but calm and direct. Car Wash Attendants must discern between priority and irrelevance; as well as when to be stern with situations.

Work Schedule Outline

• Must be willing to cover workweek and weekend hours
• Afternoon, evening, and closing hour shifts.
• Must be willing to work holiday shifts.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This position necessitates effective verbal and written communication, the ability to hear at a conversational level, and the capability to perceive depth and distinguish between basic shades and colors.

While carrying out the duties of this role, the employee will be continuously required to stand and walk. Occasionally, the employee will need to sit, stoop, reach, or twist at the waist while rotating. The job involves continuous repetitive movements, frequent use of hands for gripping, and operation of hand and foot controls. On rare occasions, the employee may need to lift up to 50 lbs. for short distances, such as up to 3 feet. Occasionally, the employee will be required to pull up to 10 lbs. for distances of up to 10 feet and carry up to 50 lbs. for up to 10 feet. The role may also require frequent bending, kneeling, and balancing. Rarely, the employee may need to climb stairs or ladders.

Working Environment

Continuous outdoor work is required, with temperatures ranging from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Employees may occasionally work alone on a task and will frequently handle chemicals, necessitating the use of eye or hearing protection.
