This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, guiding vehicles safely into the tunnel, maintaining site cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations. No prior experience needed, we will train you.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers in a friendly, upbeat manner.
- Assist customers with choosing wash packages and memberships.
- Promote unlimited wash memberships (scripts and training provided).
- Answer basic customer questions about services and equipment.
Tunnel Operations
- Safely guide vehicles onto the conveyor using standard hand signals.
- Monitor the tunnel continuously to ensure smooth operation.
- Identify and resolve minor issues (e.g., tangles, jams) or escalate to management.
- Maintain proper chemical levels and report low inventory.
Site Maintenance
- Keep the vacuum area clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Empty trash cans and wipe down surfaces regularly.
- Clean equipment, windows, and work areas throughout the shift.
- Perform light janitorial tasks as needed (bathrooms, office).
Equipment Care & Safety
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform daily opening/closing checklists.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks (checking brushes, sprayers, blowers).
- Immediately report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
Team Support
- Communicate effectively with attendants, leads, and managers.
- Support the team during peak times by rotating positions as needed.
- Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, and promotional events.
Preferred but Not Required
- Prior experience in customer service, retail, or car wash operations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
- Able to stand, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, and be on your feet for most of the shift.
- Comfortable giving hand signals and interacting with drivers.
- Willingness to learn mechanical basics
- Weekend availability required.
Pay: From $15.15 per hour
