Car Window Tinting Installer

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Surface Preparation: Cleaning and prepping vehicle windows to remove debris and ensure adhesion.
• Cutting and Shaping: Measuring and cutting tint film to perfectly fit various car window shapes.
• Installation: Applying tint films to windows using heat guns, squeegees, and spray solutions to achieve a smooth, air-bubble-free finish.
• Technique Application: Using specific techniques like the "reverse roll" for challenging back windows.
• Compliance: Ensuring all tinting complies with local legal regulations regarding darkness.
• Maintenance: Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.

Job Requirements and Skills:

• Experience: Often requires experience in tint application, sometimes 2+ years for specialized roles.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to avoid imperfections.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools like heat guns and spray bottles.
• Physical Dexterity: Steady hands for precise cutting and application.
• Time Management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
