Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Patient Prep & Setup: Setting up sterile trays, preparing the procedure room, and ensuring equipment is functional.
• Assisting Doctors: Working directly with cardiologists during procedures like angiography, IVUS, FFR, PCI, and atherectomy.
• Equipment Operation: Managing and operating complex imaging and monitoring devices.
• Patient Monitoring: Observing vital signs and interpreting basic ECGs during procedures.
• Documentation: Charting patient data and procedure details using systems like McKesson or Epic.
• Sterilization & Maintenance: Ensuring instruments and the lab environment are sterile and functional.

Skills & Training

• Knowledge: Understanding cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, arrhythmias, and catheterization techniques.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment and managing data.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, attention to detail, and strong communication.
• Education: Typically involves a diploma or certification in Cardiac Care Technology

Pay: ₹15,390.90 - ₹37,657.37 per month
