Cardiologist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible collaborating with and supervising our cardiology physician assistant to ensure ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will also provide virtual patient consultations and evaluations in collaboration with the physician assistant as needed. This role requires a strong foundation in cardiology, along with the ability to utilize various medical technologies and systems effectively.

Duties

• Serve as supervisory and consulting cardiologist to physician assistant
• Provide Telecardiology care as needed in collaboration with physician assistant
• Remote position
• Flexible schedule with a time commitment of no more than 20 hours per month
• Utilize our EHR system for accurate documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with our primary care team providers for patient care when necessary
• Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding lifestyle modifications and disease management when necessary

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution with board certification in Cardiology.
• Valid Virginia Medical License
• Proven experience in cardiology practices, including knowledge of cardiac imaging techniques and procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration within a healthcare team.
