Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Cardiologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide expert care in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with cardiovascular diseases. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and management plans for patients with cardiac conditions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Lead and supervise junior doctors, cardiology fellows, and other healthcare staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with national guidelines and hospital policies.
• Engage in patient education and preventive cardiology programs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialist qualification in Cardiology (e.g., MRCP, MD, DM, FRCP).
• Registration with the [local medical regulatory body – e.g., GMC (UK), NMC (India), DHA/HAAD (UAE), etc.].
• Minimum [X] years of experience as a consultant or specialist in cardiology.
• Proficient in non-invasive and/or invasive cardiology procedures (as applicable).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Desirable Skills:

• Subspecialty interest (e.g., interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure) is a plus.
• Experience in teaching or mentoring medical staff.
• Research and publication record in cardiology-related topics.

Working Conditions:

• Hospital-based setting with both outpatient and inpatient duties.
• On-call responsibilities as per rota.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹642,597.34 per year
