Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves supporting technicians in diagnostic procedures, patient care, starting IV's and administrative tasks within outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical support roles, with expertise in cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Assist techicians with diagnostic tests such as Nuclear and exercise stress tests, and PET scans procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Start IV's for testing
- Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and symptoms accurately .
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and ensuring proper positioning.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions, test results, ICD coding, and procedural notes for accurate medical records.
- Assist with intake processes, scheduling, and coordinating follow-up appointments to optimize clinic flow.
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting cardiology diagnostics.
- Previous IV experience or certification.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures.
- Experience working in diagnostic / clinical environments.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support functions such as intake and vital signs collection.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
