Cardiology - Invasive Physician

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with shared on-call duties.
• Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform evaluations and diagnostic tests, including EKGs, Echocardiography, and stress testing.
• Examine, diagnose, and treat a variety of cardiac disease processes.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
• Assist in community outreach to nearby critical access hospitals.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including CME activities.
• Participate in hospital meetings and contribute to policy formation.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
• Completed cardiology fellowship.
• Experience interpreting echocardiograms and performing cardiac diagnostics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Oregon medical license (or willing to obtain).
• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
• Clean malpractice history/background.
• Copy of NPDB self-query report.
