Cardiology Associates Medical Group is a privately-owned, physician-led cardiology practice located in beautiful Ventura, California--just 1.5 miles from beautiful SoCal beaches. Our dedicated team of 8 physicians (3 general cardiology, 3 interventional, 2 electrophysiology), 4 APPs, and 13 medical assistants provides comprehensive cardiovascular care with a strong emphasis on quality, collaboration, and continuity. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cardiology setting, but training will be provided to exceptional candidates. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a PA or NP in a hospital or clinic setting is required.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with Ventura County's premier cardiology practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and cardiovascular assessments
• Exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality care and concern with all patients
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests)
• Create and implement treatment plans in coordination with cardiologists
• Provide education to patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
• Participate in follow-up care and patient management
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (required)
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment
