Important things to know about this job:

Full-time days, generally Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the operational management of his/her designated department. Implicit in this statement is indicated responsibility for the supervision, direction, and support of the Respiratory Therapy, Pulmonary Function, EKG and Sleep Study staff in the department. Demonstrates leadership ability and serves as a role model for clinical practice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Satisfactory work experience, demonstrating knowledge and skill, interest, leadership, and willingness to accept responsibility.
Licensed to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the area of respiratory therapy.
Preferably one year of management experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.
Current ACLS and NRP Certification within 60 days of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and process information, supervise practice of employees, and monitor the environment.
Must be able to talk and hear to converse with others, in person and over the telephone.
Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule
Able to work in a latex burdened environment.
