Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Our Company is seeking an experienced and innovative Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our dedicated healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with complex heart and thoracic conditions through surgical intervention. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients experiencing cardiothoracic issues, completing necessary diagnostic tests
• Create and execute individualized surgical treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Perform advanced surgical procedures, including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, and lung surgeries
• Emphasize the use of minimally invasive techniques to improve patient outcomes and recovery times
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care
• Monitor patients pre-operatively and post-operatively, ensuring prompt response to any complications
• Participate in ongoing research to advance the field of cardiothoracic surgery and enhance clinical practices
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completed a General Surgery residency and an accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical techniques related to cardiothoracic procedures
• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular and pulmonary anatomy and physiology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Able to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with advancements in cardiothoracic surgery
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
