The Echocardiography Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of echocardiographic procedures to assist cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, technical proficiency, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals Theologist ensures accurate imaging, patient safety, and high standards of care throughout the diagnostic process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms under physician supervision
• Assist with stress echocardiography (exercise and dobutamine-based)
• Support transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures as required
• Prepare Patients and Equipment
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and positioning them appropriately
• Set up and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Data Recording and Analysis
• sperate imaging systems to capture and store high-resolution images of cardiac structures
• record and maintain detailed patient records, test results, and clinical observations
• valuate preliminary results and assist the cardiologist with diagnostic interpretation
• Patient Communication and Care
• Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions or concerns
• Provide follow-up instructions based on physician guidance
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional conduct at all times
• Team Collaboration and Communication
• Communicate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and administrative staff
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and workflow efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiology Technology or a related field
• certification in Echocardiography (RDMS-AE, RDCS preferred)
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic principles
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound and cardiovascular imaging equipment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a clinical setting
• Current CPR and BLS certification
