Care Giver

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor patient health by observing.
• Prepare nutritious meals.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation.
• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Engage residents in social and physical activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being.
• Providing brief change and hygiene support.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with persons with disabilities.
• Knowledge of patient observation.
• Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training are required or highly valued
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your suitability for this role
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs when needed
• Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards diverse populations including seniors and individuals with disabilities
• Basic cooking skills and familiarity with care plans for personalized resident support

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
