Job Title: CareAware Clinical & Device Integration Analyst

Role Overview

The CareAware Clinical & Device Integration Analyst is responsible for supporting and optimizing medical device integration workflows within the CareAware Clinical platform. This role ensures seamless connectivity between bedside medical devices, biomedical systems, and the EMR environment, enabling real-time patient monitoring and accurate clinical documentation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with device integration workflows, understands iBus/Open Engine architecture basics, and is proficient in real-time data monitoring within hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities

CareAware Clinical Device Integration

  • Configure, support, and maintain device integration workflows within CareAware Clinical.
  • Implement and validate data flow between bedside devices and EMR systems.
  • Support new device onboarding, configuration, and mapping.
  • Troubleshoot device connectivity and data transmission issues.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient vitals and device-generated data.

iBus / Open Engine Support

  • Understand and support the architecture of:
  • iBus communication framework
  • Open Engine device integration components
  • Monitor interface channels and troubleshoot message failures.
  • Perform device association, data mapping, and workflow validation.
  • Support upgrades and patch implementations.

Real-Time Monitoring & Biomedical Systems

  • Support real-time data capture from:
  • Patient monitors
  • Ventilators
  • Infusion pumps
  • Anesthesia machines
  • Collaborate with biomedical engineering teams to resolve hardware and network-related issues.
  • Validate alarm integrations and device alert workflows.
  • Ensure high availability of mission-critical monitoring systems.

Workflow Optimization

  • Analyze device documentation workflows and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Work with clinical stakeholders (ICU, OR, ED) to optimize charting automation.
  • Reduce manual documentation burden through integration enhancements.

Production Support & Incident Management

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for device integration issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis for device data discrepancies.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical care system support.
  • Maintain SLA compliance for incident resolution.

Testing & Validation

  • Support end-to-end testing during:
  • Device implementations
  • EMR upgrades
  • System migrations
  • Validate message integrity and data accuracy.
  • Maintain documentation for compliance and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Biomedical Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in medical device integration.
  • Hands-on experience with CareAware Clinical.
  • Understanding of iBus/Open Engine architecture basics.
  • Experience supporting real-time clinical monitoring systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, TCP/IP, device protocols).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with EMR platforms such as Oracle Health Millennium.
  • Familiarity with ICU, OR, and critical care workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with biomedical engineering teams.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure supporting medical devices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹225,281.89 - ₹758,844.41 per year
