Career Counsellor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Career Counsellor to guide and support students in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of career pathways, higher education options, and student counselling practices within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide career guidance and counselling to students from middle and secondary grades
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions to assess student interests, strengths, and career goals
• Organize career awareness programs, workshops, and orientation sessions for students and parents
• Guide students on subject selection, stream choices, and higher education opportunities in India and abroad
• Maintain student counselling records and prepare reports
• Coordinate with teachers and management to support student development
• Arrange career fairs, guest lectures, and industry interaction programs
• Support students in college applications, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience as a Career Counsellor in a school
• Strong knowledge of academic streams, career options, and university admission processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
• Certification in career counselling is an added advantage

Salary: As per experience and qualifications

• Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
