The Nanny Haven is assisting a warm and engaged family in Cotswold (Charlotte, NC) in their search for a professional, warm, and confidently assertive Career Nanny / Household Manager for their tween and teen children.

This is an ideal role for a candidate who enjoys working with older children, values collaboration with parents, and brings structure, humor, and positive leadership into the home.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 1:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

(Guaranteed hours provided.)

About the Family

The family is seeking someone warm, organized, and appropriately assertive, with a great sense of humor and the ability to connect with tween/teen personalities. They value open communication and teamwork.

The family has a sweet 17-lb Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and a second puppy may be joining the family in Summer 2026. The candidate must genuinely love dogs and be comfortable walking them 1–2 times daily.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Childcare & Support

• School pickups and transportation to/from after-school activities
• Homework guidance and academic support
• Meal preparation for children, including teaching basic cooking skills
• Children’s laundry and assistance with organization
• Positive collaboration and communication with parents

Household Management

• Light household upkeep (tidying common areas)
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
• Grocery shopping and light family meal prep
• Walking the dog 1–2 times daily
• Restocking household essentials
• Running errands as needed
• Coordinating and collaborating with cleaning services

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional nanny experience
• Experience working with older children preferred
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Safe, reliable driver with clean driving record
• Detailed oriented and strong ability to multi task
