Short Description

Duties:

Job Purpose:

Develop and manage the master project schedule in alignment with project scope and project execution plan for capital projects.

Functional Duties:

• Manage the planning and scheduling parts of assigned projects; provide support during project evaluation and reviews.
• Monitoring of project progress in each project phase, and perform analysis for resource loading and performance progress and prepare schedule performance measurement reports, forecasts and studies on a regular basis.
• Utilize planning and scheduling experience and available tools (Primavera experience required; Ms-Project) to develop, monitor and analyze project schedules for all project phases and advise Project leaders on findings.
• Provide project management consultation and schedule risk factors affecting the timely completion of projects.
• Ensure proper Progress Management Practices are implemented to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting.
• Represent Sadara’s interest in discussions with third party contractors, vendors, manufacturers with regard to project schedules and progress measurement and reporting.
• Analyze project schedule, in-house or contracted, to determine schedule risks and make recommendations for mitigation.
• Contribute to the development of project contract and strategies, cost estimation and bid evaluation and analysis of change orders of capital projects as required.
• Report target and actual schedule completion data to relevant management and benchmarking services, to help improve site project schedule performance.

Education:

Essential: Bachelor degree of Science in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or any related engineering degree.

Certification:

PMP is preferred
