Career Program Specialist (Admissions Representative)

Career Program Specialist (Admissions Representative) – Put Your People Skills to Work

Are you great with people but burned out by quota-only sales roles, unpredictable schedules, or jobs that feel transactional instead of meaningful?

This is your chance to use your communication skills, empathy, and sales or customer service experience to help people take the first step toward a new career — while building a stable, rewarding career for yourself.

We’re looking for motivated, people-focused professionals, not career educators. If you know how to connect, listen, and guide — we’ll teach you our admissions process.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Career Program Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective students, helping them explore career training options and determine if our programs are the right fit.

You will:

  • Speak with prospective students by phone, in person, and virtually about career goals and educational options
  • Guide applicants through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment
  • Build trust through consultative, student-focused conversations — not high-pressure tactics
  • Conduct campus tours and information sessions
  • Accurately document student interactions and progress in our systems
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Academic, and Student Services teams
  • Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development

Minimum Requirements

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfort working with goals, follow-ups, and deadlines
  • Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree
  • Knowledge of post-secondary or career-focused education

Why Work With Us?

You’ll join a team dedicated to helping students gain practical skills for real careers. Supported by Admissions leadership, Financial Aid, and Academic teams, you can focus on what you do best — connecting with people and guiding them toward opportunity.
