• Valid Driver's License

• CPR certified (or willing to be)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Commitment to passing a background check

What You'll Do:

As a DSP at Bread of Life Care, you will play a crucial role in providing daily support to individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing, providing transportation to appointments and community activities, and assisting with meal planning and preparation. You will also be responsible for implementing individualized support plans, promoting independence and community integration, and documenting individuals' progress and any relevant incidents or observations. Additionally, you will be expected to engage in meaningful activities and outings with the individuals, fostering social connections and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each individual. Your role extends beyond physical assistance; you'll be a source of friendship and encouragement.
