Caregiver – Gina’s DayCare Learning Academy
Gina’s DayCare Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old, supporting their growth and development at every stage.

Schedule:
- Full-time preferred (part-time availability is limited)
- Monday – Friday
- Must be available within operating hours of 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Scheduled shifts will fall within this window (you will not work the full operating hours)
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Childcare experience preferred
- Must be professional, respectful, dependable, and punctual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with children of all age groups (infants through school-age)
- Must be able to use an iPad to log daily activities (meals, diaper changes, naps, notes, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Child Development & Care
- Provide attentive care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old
- Support age-appropriate learning and developmental activities
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being at all times
Lesson Planning & Engagement
- Assist with and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Encourage creativity, exploration, and positive social interaction
Classroom Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Promote positive behavior and guide conflict resolution in a respectful manner
Daily Documentation
- Accurately log all daily activities using an iPad (meals, diapering, restroom use, naps, and parent notes)
Progress & Communication
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents regarding their child’s day and development
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency and high-quality care
Individualized Support
- Recognize and support each child’s unique needs and strengths
Professionalism & Growth
- Follow all state licensing requirements and center policies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
