Caregiver

Job Overview:

BeeHive Homes of Crownridge is a family owned and operated small Type B Assisted Living Facility (ALF) in NW San Antonio just north of Six Flags Fiesta Texas and the La Cantera Golf Course. We strive for excellence and have an unmatched reputation for providing quality care to our residents and maintaining an exceptional team of caregivers. We are currently recruiting for a full-time CAREGIVER to work 40 hours per week during our 2nd shift (2pm-10pm). The successful candidate must be experienced, dependable, up-beat, team oriented, patient, kind, and competent in assisting elderly people with activities of daily living. Our caregiver to resident ratios are 1:8 during 1st and 2nd shifts and 1:16 during 3rd shift.

Duties:

• perform and chart ADLs
• manage medications and chart MARs
• record shift notes and incident reports
• perform light housekeeping and laundry services

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience caregiving in a licensed ALF in the last 18 months
• Effective communication and human relations skills
• Proficiency using computer devices and office programs in the work environment
• Pass a comprehensive background check
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED
