Job Overview
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Your compassionate nature and dedication will shine as you provide essential support in daily living activities, ensuring comfort and safety for those under your care. You will work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and dignity.

What you’ll do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status, observing any changes that may require attention.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living space to ensure a safe environment.
• provide medication reminders.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.
• Engage in memory care activities for clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia, fostering cognitive engagement.

Basic qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing or social work is preferred.
• Knowledge of First Aid and CPR techniques to ensure immediate response in emergencies.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or group home settings.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
