Duties

• Provide attentive caregiving to infants, toddlers, and children with diverse needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing in accordance with individual care plans
• Support early childhood development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and cooperation among children
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following health and safety protocols including first aid procedures when necessary
• Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans that meet each child's unique needs
• Support classroom or daycare activities by teaching basic skills, supervising playtime, and encouraging exploration

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, babysitting, nannying or similar roles is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding routines and developmental milestones
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to support inclusive caregiving
• Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training in behavior management or early childhood education is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members
• Classroom experience or childcare training that emphasizes safety protocols and developmental activities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.37 - $26.94 per hour

Work Location: In person
