Caregiver

Ray of Sunshine Senior Care connects experienced caregivers with in-home care opportunities in the Denton area.

If you prefer choosing your own schedule and client opportunities instead of being assigned shifts, this model offers more control over how and when you work.

This is a contract (1099) opportunity where caregivers select the opportunities that align with their availability.

Available Opportunities

• Part-time and full-time opportunities available
• Day, evening, and weekend schedules depending on client needs
• Opportunities vary based on contracts you choose to accept

Typical Support

• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Light housekeeping and home organization
• Companionship and safety supervision
• Transportation to appointments or errands (as applicable)
• Observing and reporting changes in condition

Good Fit If

This opportunity is a better fit for caregivers who prefer flexibility and are comfortable selecting and managing their own client schedules.

Requirements

• Prior caregiving experience preferred (professional experience strongly preferred)
• Experience assisting with ADLs
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance preferred
• Comfortable around pets preferred
• Able to pass a state-mandated background check
• Experience with dementia care, transfers, or mobility assistance is a plus

Compensation

• $18–$22 per hour depending on the client opportunity
• Contract (1099) position
• Caregivers choose the opportunities they accept
