Duties

• Provide attentive care to children and infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement throughout the day
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and dressing for infants and toddlers
• Support early childhood development by implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills
• Manage behavior with patience and positive reinforcement strategies to foster a respectful and encouraging atmosphere
• Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
• Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles
• Classroom experience or childcare training that demonstrates knowledge of childhood development principles
• Hands-on experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in age-appropriate activities
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
• Knowledge of early childhood education practices and classroom management strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
