Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in a cozy home-setting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and observe patients for any changes in health status, reporting concerns promptly
• Administer medications following prescribed care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment through light cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Support patients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia through specialized memory care techniques
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
• Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective patient care
• Document patient observations, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately and securely
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, social workers, and family members to deliver comprehensive care
• Cook meals at scheduled mealtimes
• uphold residents and staff daily schedules

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass background check
• bilingual is a plus but not required
• Ability to assist with heavy lifting and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely
• Strong observational skills for patient safety and well-being
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently while following established care plans and protocols
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in assisted living or senior care is advantageous
